The DigiSpeed-SD generates an isolated 0-10V for control of CNC equipment that requires an analog control voltage input, susg as a VFD or DC motor controller. The board generates the isolated analog voltage output from a 0-25KHz frequency (Step) input signal.
In addition to producing the isolated 0-10V signal, the board also has two relays that can be use for direction and enable control of your motor drive.
The three input control signals, STEP, RELAY1 , RELAY2 can be controlled via Active Hi or Active Lo signals (Jumper selectable), ensuring that the unit will work with your breakoutboard and software setup.
The Step input signal is conditioned such that it is unaffected by the input step pulse width.
The DigiSpeed-SD only requires a single regulated 5Vdc supply for operation. It is a perfect fit for your CNC controller. If your Motor drive cannot provide the required voltage supply, an optional Plugable on-board DC/DC converter can be used, eliminating the need for an additional external supply.
