The ModIO M100 provides a general purpose I/O interface unit with a Modbus RS-232 and RS-485 serial interface for communication with a Modbus Master. The ModIO may be used as a Pendant controller, Toolchanger or additional I/O

The I/O capability of the ModIO is;

• Firmware upgradeable via Serial port.
• 8 discrete inputs. Active low with internal pull-ups
  
• 8 discrete outputs capable of driving relay coils
• 2 MPG inputs that use discrete inputs 3&4 and 5&6
• 3 Analog inputs, 0 -5v dc, 10 bit resolution
• 1 Character LCD driver for 20x4 LCDs
• 1 Interface for DigiSpeed controller
• 1 Expansion bus interface for adding additional I/O modules. (to be added)

Unit is supplied with;

• 1 x 6" serial cable (DB-9 to 10 pin IDC connector)
• 4 x Mounting stand-offs
• 10 x 0.1" jumper headers
• 1 x 6 pin 0.1" header connector to match DigiSpeed Header
